Job Title: Purchase Engineer

Job Summary

As a Purchase Engineer you will be the primary administrative resource for the Purchase. You must be able to work with the production planning department to ensure on-time delivery of raw material to the factory.

Job Responsibility & Goals

  1. Study of BOM, selecting vendor from last supply / present price and delivery / finding new vendors.
  2. Sending enquiries and getting quotation.
  3. Preparing purchase order in Tally and getting approved from MD.
  4. Preparing of purchase order for verbal purchase only after verifying rates.
  5. Sending dispatch report to factory.
  6. Attending suppliers’ calls related to queries and solving them.
  7. Follow-up of purchase and labour bills and checking bill as per purchase order.
  8. Getting material receipt / rejection note from factory.
  9. Doing new vendor registration formalities and updating vendor list.
  10. Maintaining & updating purchase price list.
  11. Maintaining list of hawala / rejected vendors.
  12. Preparing final list of purchase monthly.
  13. Reconciliation of purchase.

Reports to: Production Planning Engineer, Design Manager, Accounts Manager

Position: Sales Engineer
Company: Firetech Equipment & Systems Pvt. Ltd.

Job Responsibility & Goals:

  1. Travel extensively PAN India for sales meetings, lead generation, and revenue generation.
  2. Establish new relationships by identifying potential customers and organizing sales call schedules.
  3. Make technical presentations and demonstrate how products meet client needs.
  4. Record and maintain client contact data, generate new inquiries, prepare quotations, and achieve monthly order booking targets.
  5. Prepare cost estimates by studying plans and related customer documents, consulting with engineering and production teams.
  6. Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements.
  7. Prepare reports for head office and meet regular sales targets.
  8. Submit orders in consultation with technical staff, incorporating any engineering changes.
  9. Identify current and future customer product requirements by establishing rapport and providing product/service/equipment information.
  10. Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
  11. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  12. Must be willing to travel extensively – up to 80%.

Job Description

Position: Tendering Sales Executive
Location: Mumbai

Job Responsibilities & Goals:

  1. Prepare tenders and standardized documentation as per techno-commercial scope.
  2. Create quotes using CRM/Excel/Word.
  3. Develop bid and tender strategy and coordinate approvals.
  4. Handle registrations with PSU/Govt entities.
  5. Maintain qualified vendor list.
  6. Compile tender proposals with all necessary inputs.
  7. Ensure timely submission of tenders and RFQs.
  8. Negotiate contracts, coordinate with users, and track status.
  9. Manage online/offline bid submissions and tender follow-ups.
  10. Correspond with vendors (NDAs, confirmations, etc.).
  11. Prepare/review tender packages (bid forms, contracts, etc.).
  12. Maintain procurement documentation and records.
  13. Archive tender files after completion.
  14. Prepare tender status and timeline reports.
  15. Contact vendors for quotes and document purchase orders.
  16. Coordinate with accounts for order completion and documents.
  17. Manage govt. liaisons, collections, and MIS.
  18. Track new tenders, attend pre-bid meetings.
  19. Rate analysis and quantity surveying is preferred.
  20. Search tenders through portals and newspapers; maintain tracker.

  7. Maintain and update outstanding/proforma lists and bank reconciliation.
  8. Register MSME cases and handle legal notices.
  9. Update monthly payment status to the sales team.
  10. Knock off outstanding debtors and GST invoices.
  11. Send weekly proforma invoices and pending payments.
